Adobe Illustrator is available for Windows on ARM (Finally)

If you’ve recently purchased one of the new Copilot PCs and you’re a creative, you’ve probably noticed that your choices for creative apps native to the platform are a little bit limited. Creative Cloud users have been practically begging Adobe to hurry up and release ARM versions of the popular creativity suite, especially after being so quick to embrace Apple’s migration to a custom ARM based platform just a few years ago.

You can now download an ARM native version of Adobe Illustrator from the Creative Cloud app, do remember the software is still carrying the beta tag, so you may still experience some bugs. Adobe has already released the ARM versions of Photoshop and Lightroom, so if you’re a photographer and have a new Copilot PC you’re set. We’re still waiting to see versions of the video apps make their way to Windows on ARM, Adobe Premier and After Effects. For now though if you need to edit video on your new Copilot PC you’ll have to check out Davinci Resolve, it’s also still in beta, so your experience may vary.

We’ll keep waiting for Adobe to release the video apps.
