Amazon goes in on AI with new Echo devices

Amazon has just announced new speakers and smart displays, following the trend and further embracing the AI generation. The new devices are engineered for Alexa+, new sensors, and a premium design. The included devices are the Echo Show 11, Echo Show 8, a new Echo Dot, and Echo Studio speakers, rounding out the lineup.

The new smart displays, the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11, have been redesigned with front-facing speakers with a subwoofer in the rear. You’ll also notice an increased viewing angle from both devices. These new displays do what they’ve always done, allowing you to control your smart home, entertainment, and shopping options. You’ll also have full access to your other Alexa-powered devices on these displays, such as Ring cameras and floodlights.

The Echo Show 8 is available for preorder at $179.99, and the Echo Show 11 will be $219.99. These devices start shipping on November 12th.

If sound is more your thing, the new Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio speakers have been redesigned with a cleaner, more premium look. The Echo Studio is the most advanced Amazon speaker to date, featuring customer-woofer technology and up to three times more bass than previous offerings. Amazon didn’t leave out those who want the full-powered theatre experience. You’ll be able to connect up to five Echo Dots and Echo Studio speakers to get your whole home theatre experience. Amazon does plan to sell a theatre bundle to help you get started. The smart speakers come in at $99.99. Amazon says, “There’s no other smart speaker available that has this much innovation and performance at this price point.”
