It looks like i’s about time for Amazon to reveal what’s next in its hardware and services division. February 26th in New York City in an event hosted by Panos Panay, the head of Amazon Devices and Services. You may remember Panos departed Microsoft for Amazon in September 2023. This will be the first conference under his leadership, the normal conference didn’t occur in 2024.
Panos Panay was a significant staple in Surface devices during his time at Microsoft. Over the years, Amazon devices have faced a number of financial losses, with what has seemed like mediocre hardware and subpar software. It’ll be interesting to see if Panay has been able to influence the next generation of Amazon devices.
