If you’re like me and you just can’t find a set of comfortable earbuds, this one might be for you. Apple has officially announced the AirPods Max 2, the premium and only over-the-ear offering in their audio lineup. Powered by the H2 chip, Apple says the AirPods Max 2 offer 1.5x better noise cancellation than the original version.
The AirPods Max 2 use new computational audio algorithms and the M2 chip to dramatically block out your surroundings. You also get a transparency mode to enhance your surroundings. A high-dynamic amplifier enhances clarity across the entire volume spectrum, and Spatial Audi provides greater instrumental clarity. This means you get a tighther bass response and cleaner mids and highs.
Apple didn’t leave creators out of the upgrades; the AirPods Max 2 support 24-bit/48khz over a USB-C connection for studio-quality audio and mixing apps. Use Logic Pro to mix and produce Personalized Spatial Audio. The AirPods Max 2 headphones bring a wave of technology. Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Voice Isolation, Live Translation, Camera Removal, Studio-Quality Recording, Personalized Volume, and Siri Integration.
AirPods Max 2 start at $549 and will be available beginning next month, with preorders starting March 25th
