If you’re reading this from the United States, it’s voting time again. Bing is focused on comprehensively providing straightforward, prompt information for both the Presidential Election and your local state elections.
Bing will be providing up-to-the-minute information, including polling information on state primaries and the latest up-to-date news. Included also, is a module to help you get the most information on how and where to vote in your state. Below is a sample of what data may look like on Election Day.

On Election Day, the map below will be the starting point for your experience. Depending on your interests and the national, state, and local levels, you’ll be able to sort the various elections by state and race. Following along is very easy, the map will dynamically change colors as results change to let you know who’s winning what race and where.

You can click on each state, as seen in the image below, to see all races at the local and state levels. You’ll see the electoral votes as well as the popular vote. You’ll also know if results are still to come.

You’ll also see an updated condensed experience on your mobile device. Microsoft says the data is sourced from The Associated Press. If you’re on mobile, at the top right of the side pane, you’ll be able to see the last time results were refreshed. Microsoft will keep the maps and data available as the final votes come in and after the results have been finalized.
