BlizzCon comes back in 2026

BlizzCon was one of the in-person events I was sure we wouldn’t see again. It was canceled due to COVID-19 a few years ago and again last year. Now that it’s under the Microsoft umbrella, I wasn’t confident it would be back. However, I’m wrong, and I’m happy to be so. Blizzard has announced that 2026 is the time for fans to return. The next event will be at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, September 12th, and Sunday, September 13th, 2026.

BlizzCon is one of the oldest events in the gaming industry; the first event was in 2005. In 2026, you can expect to see the opening ceremonies you’ve gotten used to, in-depth panels, the Darkmoon Faire, friendly competition, and hands-on gameplay of Blizzard titles. Blizzard says they are building the event with detail and depth like their games.

The road to BlizzCon starts today. As plans take shape, there will be more to share. To learn more about the event, tickets, or special offers, Blizzard suggests following them on social media.
