The first iteration of the popular Call of Duty franchise under the Microsoft umbrella has been a hit on Game Pass. While we don’t have any concrete numbers of how many times the game has been downloaded, my daily checks on the Xbox Dashboard of listing the most popular games have either shown Black Ops 6 on top or the previous version, Modern Warfare III. However once the polish has worn off the game, many gamers have become less than satisfied with the Multiplayer experience.
In an ideal world, Activision would prefer that all gamers play together in ranked mode to see who the number one player is regardless of platform. Unhappy gamers have been slowly finding their way to the console version, finding a new title of interest to avoid the chaos with PC players. Starting today, when the second season launches at 9 a.m. Pacific time or 12 p.m. Eastern time, console players will be able to turn off crossplay and play among themselves to hopefully resolve the issue.
Let us know down in the comments if today’s upgrade improved your experience.
