CES 2025: ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI Copilot + PC announced

We are still a couple of weeks away from CES 2025, but ASUS is starting to trickle out news about what it plans to showcase during the tech conference and that starts with a Copilot + PC NUC.

We just wrote about GEEKCOM’s plan to bring the first Snapdragon powered NUC to the masses, and now we have ASUS delivering a really polished looking and beefed-up Intel based AI PC for audiences. ASUS announced its NUC 14 Pro AI that will support up to five different configurations that include Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 9 processors with up to 32GB of RAM. NUC 14 Pro AI will also come with up to 67 TOPS of GPU performance and 48 NPU TOPS which clear Microsoft minimum 40 TOPs threshold for its additional AI-fueled Copilot + PC features, as well as storage capacity up to 2TB with NVMe SSD.

ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI represents a major leap in AI mini PC technology. It’s powered by up to the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 processors (Series 2) that feature a multi-architecture design incorporating CPU, GPU, and NPU technologies. Delivering a total of 120 platform TOPS and 48 NPU TOPS, ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI provides 3X the AI performance of previous-generation NUC models, making it ideal for commercial use, edge computing, and IoT applications.

ASUS Press Release

The NUC 14 Pro AI packs a ton of specs into a sleek rounded square desktop that measures 130mm thick and 34mm tall. Visually, the NUC 14 Pro AI resembles the Mac Mini in many ways, and the look alone might be a selling point for Windows desk jockeys.

In addition to looks, the NUC 14 Pro AI will also bring a fingerprint reader to the top of the design and a dedicated Copilot button to the front of the box for recognizing voice commands. Other hardware features of the NUC 14 Pro AI include a Thunderbolt 4 slot, two USB-A ports, a dedicated headphone jack, and a 2.5bps ethernet jack on the back with another Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, and two more USB-A’s on the back of the device.

ASUS will presumably announce more details on the NUC 14 Pro AI that include pricing and availability during CES in a couple of weeks.
