Free Play Days: NBA 2K25, Black Ops 6, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

You know it’s going to be time to grab the pizza when you see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the title of a post. This weekend is going to be packed with fun if you’re an Xbox gamer, and a football fan. Don’t worry though Microsoft has totally hooked you up for some Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and maybe even some halftime gaming this weekend.

Starting Thursday, February 6th, at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time and continuing through Sunday, February 9th, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, you can catch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed with a two-hour free trial. So get out there and relive your childhood (like me) or if you’re part of the younger generation jump in and learn what “Hero’s in a Half Shell Turtle Power!” is all about. No Xbox membership required.

If you’re a sports fan and maybe football just isn’t your thing, you can get a full weekend to try out NBA 2K25. Hit the hardwood, build your player, and rocket to the NBA Finals. If multiplayer action is what you prefer well, you’re in luck there too, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is running from February 6th 12:01am Pacific until February 10th at 10am Pacific. So you’ll be able to enjoy that one a bit past Super Bowl time!

How do you get started? Just download the titles in your Xbox Dashboard or head over to Xbox.com. It’s worth noting that if you enjoy these trials, the complete titles are sporting a heavy discount for Free Play Days. While prices vary in each region in the U.S., NBA 2K25 is $23.09, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is $48.99, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is $27.99.
