Gears of War: Reloaded Multiplayer Beta begins this week

We heard just a few weeks ago that the popular Gears of War franchise, which took hold of the gaming industry in 2006, is getting a reboot, Gears of War: Reloaded, coming this August. The launch is August 26th, 2025, for $39.00 for the Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation.

Game Pass members and those who own the Gears of War Ultimate Bundle will get access to the game as part of their purchase or membership. You can experience the Beta and get a first look at the newly remastered title twice this month. The Multiplayer Beta Weekend runs from Friday, June 13th, at noon PST to Sunday, June 15th, at noon PST.

The second Multiplayer Beta weekend runs from June 20-22 and adds the King of the Hill mode on the Canals map. Courtyard and War Machine will also be added for Team Deathmatch testing. This remaster is fully complete, featuring 4K assets, remastered textures, HDR support, and platform scaling, allowing you to play on any compatible platform. This includes the upcoming ROG Xbox handheld, as well as your Xbox or PC.
