Google Pixel 9 coming in August

Google and Samsung seem to be going back and forth with launching phones this summer. The Samsung event comes in July, while Google has taken the wraps off its Google Pixel 9 event in August. The media invites came today as a bit of a surprise, in the past Google has launched its signature phone latter in the year. We’re getting more than phones this time; perhaps some AI enhancements will also be announced. You can take a look at the teaser on the Google Store Page.

The event is scheduled for August 13th at 10 am PT. The teaser doesn’t offer many details about the Pixel 9, but it does look like we can expect a more rounded design. We won’t report rumors here on the site, so what would you like to see in the upcoming Google Pixel lineup?
