Helldivers 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter where you and three squad mates step into the boots of elite soldiers who have the mission of restoring a Managed Democracy with the biggest and baddest tools in the galaxy.
You’ll have a host of customized primary weapons as well as the ability to call on more destructive weapons called stratagems. There’s no limit to the amount of damage you can do to your enemies. Once enlisted, you are boots on the ground and you’ll work together to liberate planets and spread a Managed Democracy.
It’s 2184, and after many years of peace, the enemies of Super Earth have returned to challenge our liberty. The Helldivers Super Earth peacekeeping force has fought a vigilant fight against these enemies. The Helldivers have pushed back the Terminids a race of insect like aliens who only want to reproduce and overwhelm.
