Intel Brings Thunderbolt Share to PC Transfers

You can soon use that Thunderbolt port on your PC to transfer files and access multiple PCs from one system. Thunderbolt Share is a software solution developed by Intel aimed to allow you to share files and accessories and even use other PCs through your Thunderbolt port. Think of it as networking with Thunderbolt.

With Thunderbolt Share, you can share screens with uncompressed video, share files between machines, and access peripherals from both machines. All in a secure cabled method that doesn’t require Wifi or cloud access. Thunderbolt Share will begin being offered later this year. You can expect announcements from Lenovo, Acer, MSI, and others.
