It’s that time of year, late Summer when we finally get to see what iPhone rumors came true and what we’ll have to hope for next year. According to a tweet from Mark Gurman, who covers Apple for Bloomberg, the event will be held on Monday, September 9th, at the Steve Jobs Theatre starting at 10 a.m. PT.
Apple is calling this event “Glowtime” which may be a clue to a new product or product feature to be announced. This year, the iPhone 16 is expected to have thinner bezels. We can also expect the announcement of iOS 18 with RCS messaging support. It was originally thought we might see Apple intelligence make an appearance, but Apple has hinted that its entry into AI might have to come a little later in the form of an update. The Apple Watch Series 10 and a new version of the Apple AirPods are expected to be released.
The event will also be streamed live online.
