It is now easier to control your Teams audio and video settings during meetings, in preview at least

Microsoft is testing a new way to control your audio and video settings in Teams. The change is currently only available for Microsoft 365 Insiders but should make the task much less distracting, diving through fewer buttons and menus for the common task.

So, how will it work? Well, if you’re running the Teams Public Preview or Microsoft 365 Targeted Release, and also use the new Teams client for Windows or macOS, there’s not much to it. First, just click on the downward arrow next to the Camera button or the Microphone button in the Meeting toolbar. After that, choose More Video options and get into the side panel, for quick access to these settings. As a simpler route, there’s the option to choose More actions, and then Audio settings or Video effects and settings.

Preview features like this one usually take a few weeks to roll out to everyone not running the preview version of Teams. It’s yet another great feature and helps make the app more accessible for novice users.
