Lenovo launches the Yoga Slim 7x, a Snapdragon-powered PC for creatives

We’ve waited patiently; today, the Snapdragon-powered Windows PCs have arrived. Lenovo is entering the market today with two offerings: the Yoga Slim 7x and the Thinkpad G14 Gen 6. Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor featuring 12 cores and a Qualcomm Adreno GPU coupled with a dedicated NPU, these new PCs deliver the best performance per watt. Both units feature the fastest NPU to date, processing up to 45 trillion operations per second. This power makes accessing language models offline for AI computing possible.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x – The Smarter Way to Create

The AI-powered Yoga Slim 7x creators spend less time rendering and more time creating, whether they are on the road or at their desks. The Hexagon NPU provides onboard access to features such as text-to-image creation and advanced photo and video editing. Other features include advanced camera and call quality, lossless high-definition audio, and 4K streaming. The Yoga Slim 7x can handle complex tasks efficiently, and the 70wh battery will make multi-day battery life possible, depending on the workload. The Lenovo AI Core works with the CPU to dynamically adjust resources based on user workload.

Starting at just 2.82 lbs and 0.50 inches thin, the Yoga Slim 7x is portable and powerful with its 14.5 inch 16:10 display pushing out 3K in pixels at up to 90hz with 1000nits peak brightness. The PureSight OLED touch panel features 100 percent sRGB and P3 color gamut support. Video calls and streaming will be clear thanks to the FHD IR webcam, and sounds will be precise thanks to the Lenovo Premium Suite 4 speaker sound system. The Premium Suite also features a keyboard with dish-shaped keys that offer 1.5mm of travel.

Let’s not forget that the Slim7x is also resource-efficient in design and packaging, with no plastic packaging material. The devices come in boxes made from FSC-certified paper.
