LG and Xbox Cloud are teaming up to bring gaming to your car

When you first read this headline, it might be a bit of a head scratcher. Phil Spencer is completely serious about Play Anywhere. Through a partnership with LG Electronics, both parties are working on ways to bring the games and gaming services you love to internet-connected cars.

With Xbox being built right into WenOS, passengers in internet-connected vehicles will be able to stream games directly from the Xbox App. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to a library of hundreds of games, including Gears of War: Reloaded and Forza Horizon 5. Users will need to ensure they have a proper data plan for their automobile. All services operate with full auto safety compliance in mind.

All you’ll need to do to get started is connect a Bluetooth controller through the Xbox app in your vehicle and then log in to your Game Pass account. Microsoft continues to build partnerships with vendors to bring Cloud Gaming to every available platform. Adding vehicles is just the next step.
