MacBook Air gets a refresh and a lower price

It’s that time of year for Apple fans. This week, spec bumps, new colors, and pricing are all the rage. Today, Apple has updated the MacBook Air for 2025 with the new M4 processor, tossed in a new color, and even made it more affordable. Lets jump right into that pricing, the 13-inch model is $999 and the 15-inch model is $1,199, Both come with a base 16GB of ram which you can upgrade to 32GB when you order.

As they have since the M1 series was announced, Apple continues to release battery numbers, this time up to 18 hours on a single charge, so an entire workday shouldn’t be an issue under most workloads. Apple says this new M4 chip is twice as powerful as the original M1 silicon. Another advantage of the M4 chip is the ability to connect up to two 6K displays while maintaining the use of your internal display; this wasn’t possible in previous models.

The new 12MP Center Stage webcam will keep you focused on your next video conference, making you look better. Desk View also hit the MacBook Air this time around. The new color for this year is Sky Blue. These new M4-powered laptops are available for preorder today.
