Microsoft has been dropping hints for over a year now that Windows 10 support for those who don’t want to upgrade to Windows 11 would come to an end. Today, Microsoft has taken that a step further by saying that Microsoft 365 apps will no longer receive updates on Windows 10 after August 2026.
It’s worth noting that Windows 10 support is slated to end in October 2025, just a few months away. According to The Verge the version 2608 of the Microsoft 365 apps will be released in August of 2026. It’s worth noting that these apps will receive security updates until October 2028.
If you still need updates after August 2026, you’ll have to upgrade to Windows 11.
