It’s no secret Microsoft wants Copilot everywhere, and, more importantly, they want to make sure you’re paying for a subscription. To continue on that path today, Microsoft has introduced an education version. This new version will cost $18.00 per month for educators, staff, and students aged 13 and older, with availability beginning in December of this year.
Educators will also get a new AI agent called Teach to help improve the overall classroom experience, including the ability to draft content such as quizzes and lesson plans based on student level and comprehension. The Teach AI agent will be a free integration with the Microsoft 365 Copilot for education subscription.
Following up on the Teach AI agent are both the Learn and Study agents, designed to help students with specific subjects and the digestion of daily materials. The Learn and Study agent can generate quizzes, fill-in-the-blank questions, and even flash cards to add a little fun to the exercise. Study and Learn will hit preview this November.
