Despite Black Friday originating as shopping phenomenon on the insuing Friday after the Thanksgiving day, businesses increasingly offer purhcase discounts far in advance of the holiday, and Microsoft is no exception.
For Black Friday 2023, Microsoft began its discounted showcase with $50 off select Xbox Series X|S bundles that include the Diablo IV, Forza Horizon 5, and Starter Bundles.
Specifically, Microsoft is looking to knock the price of the Diablo IV and Forza Horizon Bundles down to $449.99 for the Series X, and Series S Starter kits down to $249.99.
Eager customers will have to wait a bit longer to cash in on console discounts with Microsot not scheduling their offers to go live until November 18, 2023.
As with most Black Friday deals, Microsoft’s generosity will be extended as supplies last. For anyone who already has their hands on one of the company’s lastest consoles, there is a secondary discount of $10 that can be applied toward controllers or free engraving.
Microsoft’s controller engraving discounts are staggered behind the release of its console-specific savings, and are scheduled to start November 23, 2023.
Starting November 17:
- Save up to 50% on digital games
- Save up to 65 % on select games from Xbox Game Studios
- Save up to 67% on select PC digital games
Starting November 18:
- $50 off select Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles
- Save $10 on select Xbox Wireless Controllers
Starting November 23:
- Get free engraving on the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 created with Xbox Design Lab
On November 17, 2023, gamers can start saving up to 67% off on select Xbox games such as the platform exclusive Starfield, NBA 2K24, Mortal Kombat 1, EA Sports FC 24, Diablo IV, Assassin’s Creeds, and many more.
If you happen to game from a PC, Microsoft will also be discounting its Surface PCs with savings up to $600 on Surface Pro 9 tablet PCs, $447 on Surface Laptop 5’s, and $400 with the pricey Surface Laptop Studio 2.
While it’s not being commercially marketed, customers can still role up to the Microsoft website to snag a Surface Go 3 with up to $63 in savings discounts for a limited time.
