Microsoft Build 2025 is coming this May

Microsoft has a few events outside product launches that draw attention yearly. The first one on the yearly docket is Microsoft Build. Build is one of the largest developer conferences in the world where developers come to network and get the latest of Microsoft’s services and tools and often a peek into what’s in the works for Windows and Office platforms.

This year Build keeps its normal spot on the the calendar for May, specifically May 19th-22nd. In the past a three day event in Seattle, this year there’s an extra forth day. Maybe this means Microsoft has some extra goodies to announce. While we don’t have any details yet on what sessions might be available, it’s going to be interesting where Microsoft takes us. I would expect the event to be AI heavy much as last year, but with the emergence of Deep Seek being marketed as a cheaper to operate and a more deep thinking model, it’ll be interesting what Microsoft does to keep users under the Copilot umbrella.
