Microsoft Expands Copilot to the Education Sector

Over the past year, we have seen Microsoft Copilot start as an idea and become something businesses depend on daily for gathering and organizing important data. Today Microsoft has unleashed Copilot with commercial data protection for higher education. Microsoft is preparing students for an AI-driven future.

As of today, Microsoft has extended both GPT-4 and DALLE-3 at no additional cost for students over the age of 18. Microsoft has no access to the educational AI data and how it’s used, and none of the data is used to train the educational models. For now, pricing is $30.00 per user for faculty and staff starting in January 2024. If you’re an administrator you can learn more about managing Copilot access in the Tech Community Blog
