Flying enthusiasts don’t have to wait any longer. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is available now for Xbox and PC. If you’re a Game Pass member, the standard editions are available at no additional charge with your membership. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is Microsoft’s deepest offering yet designed for the most ambitious flying enthusiast, but toning it down for those just taking their first flight.
The core engine and innovations came from the Asobo team in Bordeaux with a wide range of contributions from the flying community. Together this made for the highest number of aircraft ever able to take flight with over 70 aircraft available. Over 800 contributors made it possible for anyone at any skill level able to take flight.
We feel very fortunate that Microsoft Flight Simulator has a vibrant, highly informed and passionate community which has been invaluable on our journey to continually improve the simulator. Our motto is “for the community – with the community”, which means that we will continue to carefully listen to your feedback and suggestions to help guide our development efforts – and it also means that we will continue to work with teams from the community to help us produce the best aircraft, airports, scenery, missions, and other features.
