Microsoft Graveyard website mourns your favorite dead or dying Microsoft products

As far back as Microsoft goes, and as valuable as the company is in 2024, some of its products don’t always last forever. You probably know that Zune and Windows Phone have met that fate, but if you need a reminder of some other Microsoft things that are dying or already dead, there’s a new website for that. It is appropriately named Microsoft Graveyard.

The work of Victor Frye, this website is pretty straightforward and is inspired by the Killed by Google website that’s already floating around. Some may say it’s an even better version of the already existing Killed by Microsoft website, too. This new website, though, is a little bit better since it lists current products that are soon to be killed off, like Xamarin, the Xbox 360 Store, and Visual Studio for Mac.

Another big difference with Microsoft Graveyard? This website is open-source, and you can contribute to it by heading over to GitHub. Clicking through the website is pretty fun, too. You’ll be taken to Wikipedia where you can read or learn more about the product itself. Microsoft Graveyard even has a Threads account, where you can interact with the community.
