Microsoft Ignite 2023: OpenAI and Copilot work together

The last twelve months have been a whirlwind of advancement in the way we research, communicate, and organize data. The terms AI, Language Learning Model, GPT, and Copilot, are all new and evolving. These terms now change the way we do business.

These services are part of the Azure OpenAI Services used to empower businesses to build generative AI experiences for their business that include video, text, and image capabilities. Those models include the following.

  • DALLE 3 is an image AI model that generates images from descriptions Users describe the images and DALLE 3 will be able to create it. DALLE 3 is now in preview.
  • GPT-3.5 Turbo Model with a 16K token prompt length allows users to extend the prompt length of their requests further efficiently. This model also includes GPT-4 Turbo. Both models will be available at the end of November 2023.
  • GPT-4 with Vision when integrated with Azure AI allows both videos and images to be included with AI output. GPT-4V also introduces the ability for video analysis. GPT-4V will be available for preview by the end of 2023. GPT-4 is also being fine-tuned to allow businesses to better customize an AI model for their business. These updates are in preview now.
  • Consumers benefit from the new Azure AI Open integration. Open AI now has direct access to search engines directly from Azure applications.

With the new advancements in Azure Open AI both businesses and consumers will have no bounds on creativity as communication engines improve with the 16K token prompt length. Prompts and output will be more efficient. Integrating Bing Search data will help make data-driven decisions more accessible.
