As part of the celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities the newest version of Seeing AI has launched. Powered by the latest advances in Microsoft AI the newest version is available on Android today via the Google Play store.
It is available in 18 languages at launch with plans to expand to 36 languages in 2024. Seeing AI is free and helps narrate the world for the blind and low-vision population. You are helping with tasks such as reading mail and identifying everyday objects. Some of the recent enhancements include Richer Descriptions of photos, the ability to Chat to your documents, and the ability to ask questions about items on a menu for example, or pricing. Seeing AI was first launched for IOS devices in 2017. With Seeing AI you point your device camera and take a photo to hear the description.
