If you’re not a Microsoft Loop user, you might be missing out. Loop is the Microsoft alternative to other collaboration tools such as Notion. What’s different about Loop, though, is a feature called Loop Components that allows you to share portions of your Loop workspace with other programs in the Microsoft ecosystem; for example, you can share Loop components with Microsoft OneNote.
Today, Microsoft took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared the updates in what it’s calling Loop 2.0. One of the significant changes is an update to the Loop URl to https://loop.cloud.microsoft/. Other updates include an updated left-side navigation, many with recently accessed items. The “Create” button is more prominent and allows you to start new ideas from anywhere in the app.
Microsoft has also added a meeting notes tab, which allows you to take notes during meetings or review past notes. The rollout of Loop 2.0 is gradual, and most users will “see it very soon,” Microsoft says.
