Microsoft Surface on Arm event comes May 20th

Yes, there is a Microsoft event this week. However, according to the folks at XDA, not everything will be announced. While the event will feature the anticipated new Surface devices, the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6, it’s expected these will be devices powered by Intel processors for the business market.

Microsoft plans to show off its more consumer-focused lineup powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chipset on May 20th. These devices are expected to feature an OLED display. The Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 will also likely be redesigned, featuring slimmer bezels and more ports.

We’re excited about Microsoft’s transition to ARM; stay tuned in for more.
