More Xbox console choices coming this Holiday Season

You’ll be able to get your hands on a few different Xbox consoles this Holiday Season. With the launch of new games at the Xbox Showcase yesterday, Microsoft announced the Xbox Series S 1TB in a Robot White. Last year, the Series S was a 1TB Carbon Black, which Microsoft says is still available while supplies last. The Robot White 1TB model will be available for $349.99.

The Xbox Series X isn’t left out of the fun either. Microsoft’s top console comes default with 1TB of storage with the ability to push 4K resolution, but this time around, the Series X is a Robot White color and all digital, meaning the disc drive has been removed, so keep that in mind if you play your content on physical media. This model will be available for $449.99.

The big hardware update in the room was the Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition. The new special edition Series X features 2TB of built-in SSD storage; you’ll need it to play the latest Black Ops 6 with other games. Black Ops 6 rings in at 300+ gigabytes. The Xbox Series X Special Edition features a unique design that draws inspiration from explorations using a silver, grey, and green celestial effect that represents the thousands of games and the millions of gamers on Xbox.

Microsoft didn’t leave out a special controller, the matching Xbox Wireless Controller features a Galaxy Black D oad and a Velocity Green back case. This controller is only available in the special edition console. The Special Edition console will be available in limited quantities for $599.99.

There are no release dates yet, but preorders do come soon.
