Nvidia is changing its GeForce Now plans and bringing some much-needed upgrades to the game streaming service. While most of the news is good, some heavy users could be a bit upset with some of the adjustments. The Priority Tier is now called the Performance Tier but does see it’s resolution hit 1440P. Ultrawide resolutions are also being supported.
If you’re a new user, you can take advantage of a Day Pass to try the service for 24 hours at 25 percent off. The Ultimate Tier costs $5.99, and the Performance Tier costs $2.99.

Now, I mentioned that if you’re a heavy gamer, there would be some rough news here. Starting in January 2025, gaming caps are being introduced to the service. You’ll get 100 hours a month across all tiers and can roll over up to 15 hours to the next month. Additional hours can be purchased in 15-hour blocks at $2.99 for the Performance Tier and $5.99 for the Ultimate tier. If you are currently subscribed or get locked in before December 31, 2024, these limits will impact you on January 1, 2026.
If you grab a Day Pass you can apply that to your monthly cost as well, if you signup within 48 hours.
