Qualcomm Rolls Out Snapdragon Control Panel, Reinforcing Copilot+ PC Momentum

Qualcomm has launched the Snapdragon Control Panel, a new software suite for Copilot+ PCs that gives users direct control over gaming performance, driver updates, and compatibility. The rollout comes two years after the debut of Snapdragon X Series laptops, underscoring Qualcomm’s commitment to ongoing support.

The Control Panel replaces the Adreno Control Panel and adds features like automatic game detection, granular performance settings, and seamless driver management. It also introduces AVX2 emulation via Microsoft’s Prism Emulator, expanding compatibility with modern PC games.

Qualcomm is delivering downloadable Adreno GPU drivers that bring fixes for more than 100 titles, stability improvements, and day‑zero support for new releases. Upgradable graphics drivers will debut with Snapdragon X2 Elite in the first half of 2026.

Gaming support is expanding too. Fortnite is now playable on Snapdragon PCs thanks to kernel‑level Easy Anti‑Cheat integration. Qualcomm is also working with Tencent’s ACE, Roblox’s Hyperion, Denuvo, BattleEye, and others to strengthen multiplayer compatibility.

Snapdragon X2 Elite and Elite Extreme already rank among the fastest Windows processors. With the Control Panel, Qualcomm is unlocking more of that potential, positioning Copilot+ PCs as evolving platforms that improve long after purchase.
