One of the most anticipated games of the past decade is set to debut a trailer as soon as tomorrow.
Rockstar Studios, home to the wildly popular open world franchise Grand Theft Auto is set to debut their first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6.
While GTA typically runs as an anthology-like franchise, it’ll be over a decade since gamers have received a follow up to the record smashing GTA 5 title, which was released back in September of 2013.
IGN is reporting a potential runtime of one minute and 31 seconds for the first of what will be plenty of trailers for the new game over the next few months. The news about the runtime comes as tens of thousands of fans await the release of the trailer, and a few sleuths stumbled upon a hover-over glitch with YouTube’s mobile interface.
According to IGN, some people were able to uncover the approximate runtime by viewing the Rockstar Games channel as an unsubscribed viewer on the mobile and noticed “the little tag that reads “upcoming” on the bottom right, and the runtime should pop up over it.”
With less than 24 hours to go before GTA 6’s first trailer is released, learning about the relatively extended timeframe for the first trailer should have plenty of fans optimistic about what will be shown.
Despite a hack last year leaking in-development footage of GTA 6 leading to many in the industry believing that the game was years off, some are speculating that Rockstar could be set to deliver the anticipated sixth installment as soon as March of 2024.
With a full minute and a half of footage to showoff tomorrow, highly anticipated GTA 6 could be here sooner than many had hoped for.
