Samsung showed off its budget line of mobile devices that include a new phone, tablet and watch, and now hold out buyers can rush to their nearest carrier to grab new tech at a relative discount.
Samsung’s latest Fan Edition (FE) Galaxy S24, Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Tab S10+5G are now up for grabs at most North American carrier outlets that include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular.
As a bit of a refresher, Galaxy S24 FE is the 6.7″ little brother of the premiere S24 Plus. The pocket-friendly handset from Samsung offers the same 50MP rear camera array as the flagship line, 128GB of storage, Exynos 2400e (4nm) processor, and a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 at 1900 nits of brightness.
Customers also have a plethora of data connectivity options with the S24FE that include normal nano-SIMs, or eSIM support with dual stand by. Just like the pricer handhelds in the lineup, the S24FE gets IP68 dust and water resistance, Corning Gorilla Victus, a 10MP f/2.4 selfie cam, and under display fingerprint reader.

Beyond hosting most of the same hardware as the flagship S24 line, customers will also get access to Samsung heralded AI advancements that include Circle to Search, Live Translate, Voice Recorder and Note dictation, FlexCam, Generative Edit, Instant Slow, Interpreter Mode, and more.
The S24 FE starts at $649.99 on Samsungs website but can be had at AT&T for as little as $5.99 a month without a trade-in. New and existing customers can also buy two new Samsung Galaxy Watch FEs and get up to $350 off. And since we’re always putting these precious handheld computers in cases, AT&T is also offering a limited time 30% discount on accessories until October 24, 2024.
The only drawback from getting the S24 FE at this point is just having the patience to wait half a year for its release.
However, if you content with the phone you currently have, there is still the matter of the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE and Galaxy Tab S10+5G. Once again, Samsung is leveraging all the R&D that went into its flagship products and delivering that to its FE fans.
The Galaxy Watch FE doesn’t come in two sizes like the regular Galaxy watch but the 40mm size does come with a $199.99 price tag and three colorways that include Black, Silver, and Pink Gold. There is another configuration of the Watch FE that includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE through AT&T.

FE fans still get the great lightweight MIL-STD-810H tested aluminum design housing a 1.2″ display, Exynos W920 chip, 247 mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage, and 1.5GB of memory. Health-focus buyers get access to most of the same sensors as the flagship Galaxy watches that includes an accelerometer, gyro, heart rate, barometer, altimeter, compass, SpO2, temperature (skin), and as long as it’s paired with a Galaxy smartphone, users can test the new sleep apnea feature.
Last up is a personal favorite of mine and that’s the Galaxy Tab S10+5G. As an owner of the Tab S9+5G, Samsung delivers the best competing experience to an iPad in North America, and now customers can get that experience for as little as $13.00 a month if they go through AT&T.
For the starting price of $999, customers get a 12.4-inch WQXGA Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2800 x 1752 and weighs under 2lbs. The super thin S10+ FE tablet packs a 13 MP world camera while housing an 8 MP webcam that can record at 4K quality. There is a single USB 3.2 Gen port for hardwire connectivity while the tablet also supports Wi-Fi 802.11a, 5GHz+6GHz, NFC, and Bluetooth v5.3.
With Android 14 onboard and upgradable to Android 15 later this year, users get the latest consumer and productivity support from their favorite apps and experiences just like on their phones as well as all of the same Samsung AI Galaxy mobile handset exclusives. Samsung also pack an S-Pen in the box which beats the nickel and dime experiences offered by Apple and Microsoft which want to charge an arm and a leg for their inking experiences.

For anyone looking to snag one of these new Samsing offerings, AT&T is also offering its customers access to its Next Up Anytime program that allows users to upgrade to the latest tech offered by the carrier for $10 per month. While it kinda feels like an insurance policy, there will come a time when Samsung, Google or Apple deliver a ‘can’t wait’ product, and that insurance policy is finally leveraged.
