Slack gets a price increase as AI features join in

AI is expensive, so as companies find ways to integrate AI into their platforms, the pricing increases. Salesforce, the owner of the popular Slack collaboration platform, has announced that it is adding the ability to deploy employee-facing AI agents directly into Slack, allowing employees to collaborate with them alongside human coworkers.

Slack’s Business+ plan is now $15.00 per month per user, and a new Enterprise+ plan is available, offering enhanced search capabilities and admin controls for governance and compliance. Salesforce channels are also coming to every Slack plan, including the free plan. Salesforce channels will connect Salesforce records with team conversations, making company data instantly available. Salesforce channels in Slack keep employees focused on data for better business decisions.

Updated pricing can be found here. Salesforce encourages companies interested in learning about the new features or to get them added to their plan to contact their account representative.
