The Xbox team continues to offer options to access the games in your Xbox library. Today’s latest announcement is for PC players. Starting today, players who have PC Game Pass Preview access and Game Pass Ultimate can stream select console games they own beyond the Game Pass catalog.
This comes after the rollout of “Stream your own game,” which rolled out earlier this year for Game Pass Ultimate members. You can stream your games on your Xbox, Meta Quest headsets, smartphones, and more. Now, the option comes to PC players. This new feature will enable you to stream games directly, eliminating the need to install them and saving both time and hard drive space. This also provides you with greater flexibility in your Game Pass library.
This now includes console-only games that couldn’t be played before using the Xbox app on PC. You can just head over to the Cloud Gaming section of the Xbox app, look for the Stream your own game catalog, and select a title you own. You can expect more games, including console games and Xbox Play Anywhere titles, to be added over time. You, the player, can now choose when and how you play.
