The Call of Duty HQ launcher is no more

I’m not a fan of over-bloated game launchers. If I need to log in to my place of purchase or access that’s understandable, but adding bloat is just not my thing. Now you can access Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and 3 without having to worry about bringing the launcher with you.

Standalone downloads are available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Keep in mind, however, if you have legacy content in the launcher, it will still be available via Call of Duty: Warzone, but will be removed with the launcher at the beginning of Season 5 on August 7th.

Now that the launcher has been removed, this means both titles will receive a brand new achievement list ready for players to unlock. The original achievements do still exist, except one achievement being added for reaching level 55 in multiplayer.
