For starters, the doors will be open to everyone to try out Black Ops 7 next week for a free trial of Multiplayer and Zombie modes, capped off with a Double XP weekend to hook you in. With gamers’ continued feedback, the seasonal update-and-refresh model isn’t going away. The development team says they “won’t rest until Black Ops 7 earns its place as one of the best Call of Duty games we’ve ever made.”
For the fans who look forward to the yearly releases, there won’t be back-to-back releases of the Black Ops or Modern Warfare series in the future. While there are many reasons, the team has decided to focus on the quality of the experience versus the quantity of games.
