The final Redfall update has arrived

The fourth and final Redfall update is rolling out across Xbox and PC. The update came despite the studio being closed just a few weeks ago. The update brings a lot of creature comforts to the title, such as offline mode, which does exactly what it says and allows users to play without an internet connection. You can pause the game when switching between offline and online modes while playing single-player.

You can now also complete objectives in an open world to let players progress in a new skill level called Community Standing. These allow you to earn unique rewards, including ammo drops and less damage from lightning strikes. Nests have also been adjusted, allowing new ways to hunt bosses and father rewards. Portals to the Elder Nest will appear more often around play areas and can be recognized by the purple glow on your map. Beating these bosses grants temporary enhancements for your entire team.

The Arkane Austin Studio ended its journey with this thank you to players and fans.
