The Steam Deck is a deal in an early Autumn Sale

The handheld that arguably started the entire industry and got everyone thinking about how to get powerful gaming devices in the palm of their hands is now on sale as part of the Steam Autumn Sale. The sale doesn’t kick off until September 29th, but you can go ahead and get your Steam Deck headed your way with a 20% discount.

Not all models are on sale, but according to the front page of the Steam website, the LCD version is the model up for the discount. This model comes equipped with 256GB of storage and a 7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800. It’s also worth noting that this model has a 60Hz refresh rate. So you won’t be getting those snappy visuals here that you might from higher-end models. Some of the newer Steam Deck models do have a 90Hz refresh rate.

This would be an excellent offering for someone on a limited budget looking to join the ranks of handheld gaming that doesn’t need high fidelity or snappy refresh rates. At just over $319.00, you can’t go wrong with this one.
