The Windows 11 Sticky Notes app will soon get a huge update

It hasn’t gotten much attention over the last few years, but Microsoft is promising that the Sticky Notes app will soon be “better than ever”. The company recently teased an incoming update for the app in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

There’s not much to the teaser other than a screen recording of someone typing into a sticky more, with the message “Well guess what, We’re back and Better than Ever!” That alone brought up many curious replies, but Microsoft was clear to indicate that the big news is not a web app, for now. Perhaps the company could be injecting AI into the Sticky Notes app? Time will well, but we’re certain that whatever it is, it will be exciting.

As always, Microsoft could test these features in the Sticky Notes app first with Windows Insiders. Then, after that, pass things down to everyone else on the standard version of Windows 11. So, stay tuned for updates.
