Windows 10 Insider Release Preview Build arrives with Copilot

In the push to bring AI to all things, Microsoft has released a Windows 10 Insider Release Preview Build (194045.3757) which begins the integration of Copilot into Windows 10. You will need to be running Windows 10 22H2 to receive the update.

The Copilot in Windows button appears on the right side of the taskbar and when selecting it does pop up on the right side of your screen. It does not block desktop content or other apps. This behavior is also remarkably similar in Windows 11. It doesn’t look like Windows 10 versions managed by organizations or education are included.

There are a few known issues, Copilot doesn’t work when your taskbar is in the vertical position. You may also see some instabilities when clicking refresh or clicking links inside Copilot. This behavior can cause Edge to crash. There is no multimonitor support, the icon will only appear on the primary screen.
