The Windows 11 Start Menu will now remind you of your Teams meetings

There’s another substantial change coming to the Windows 11 Start Menu. Over in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program, Microsoft is now testing a new feature where you might end up seeing reminders for your Teams meetings under the “Recommended” section right next to your frequently opened documents.

The change is coming in build 23619 and only applies to those who might be using Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise with a Microsoft Entra ID account, but it is pretty significant for everyday Teams users. You’ll now have an even easier way to jump right into Teams meeting. You’ll see the recommendation to join the meeting about five minutes before it begins. And, if you click it, you’ll get right into Teams. Check it out below.

This wasn’t the only change in this build, though. Microsoft also rolled out a new option to access new photos and screenshots from your Android phone. There’s a new option to edit the most recent photos from your Android phone by using the Snipping Tool. This makes marking it up much easier. It’s not a setting that’s on by default, though. You can get to it by going to go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices, then choose Manage Devices, and check the option for your PC to access your Android phone.

Though this is more of an enterprise feature, Microsoft continues to push Teams in Windows 11. If you’re keeping track, Microsoft back in the summer added Teams functionality to the Xbox Game Bar. You can game with your friends using Teams with the Microsoft Teams Play Together Widget.
