Xbox brings Game Hubs to PC players

April is here, which means update time. The PC update for Xbox players is a big deal this month. In February, the Xbox team announced they would start rolling out Game Hubs for PC games, and that day has come.

PC players can now enjoy a deeper integration with their PC games inside the Xbox app. Navigate to any game in your library and track your progress, discover new content, or connect with your friends. You might even see the latest news from game developers there as well. With this official rollout, a fan favorite has returned: game captures. Any game clip or screenshot you’ve captured through Game Bar for a specific game will be displayed inside that game hub and locally stored on your PC so it can be accessed for sharing.

New sub-navigation options have also started previewing under the What’s Happening section under Game Pass for PC and Xbox. To learn more about the changes when you access your Xbox App on PC, click here.

The console experience has improved a bit today as well. If you’re a Discord Voice user, you’ll now be able to hear soundboard audio from others on your channel or Discord call. If you don’t want to hear these options, you can mute them under Options > Mute soundboard. You can finally use your OneDrive to back up your game captures and clips. You’ll get a notification on your console if you run low on space.

You can also now block guests from being able to install or uninstall content on your Xbox with a Guest PIN. If guests try installing or uninstalling content, they will be prompted to enter the pin.
