As seems to be the trend this year, Xbox, too, cannot escape the pricing increases. Starting today (May 1st), Microsoft has announced that they have adjusted the recommended pricing for consoles and controllers worldwide. It’s also expected that some first-party games will get a price increase to $79.99 this holiday season. Microsoft highlights that those titles have the benefit of Play Anywhere, allowing gamers to buy once and play on additional devices, such as handhelds or PCs, at no extra cost.
