Xbox Game Pass May 2025: DOOM, Revenge, and a Whole Lot of Chaos

Microsoft recently dropped its latest Xbox Game Pass lineup, and let’s just say—May is looking stacked. Whether you’re into demon-slaying, time-traveling, or corporate revenge, there’s something for everyone.

DOOM: The Dark Ages – May 15

First up, we have DOOM: The Dark Ages, the medieval prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal. This time, the DOOM Slayer trades his futuristic arsenal for brutal medieval weaponry, battling through a dark, war-torn world overrun by Hell’s forces. Expect cinematic storytelling, blood-soaked combat, and a whole lot of destruction.

And if you want to get a head start, Microsoft is offering a Premium Upgrade that includes up to two days of early access and campaign DLC at launch.

Revenge of the Savage Planet – May 8

Ever dreamed of getting revenge on your former employer? Well, now you can—just in space. Revenge of the Savage Planet throws you into a corporate dystopia, where you’ve been abandoned on the far edge of space with no gear and no safety net.

Your mission? Explore every alien rock, collect upgrades, and fight your way back to Earth—all while making sure your ex-boss regrets ever firing you.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – May 7

Time to power up—Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming to Game Pass! This action-packed RPG lets you create your own fighter, train with legendary characters, and battle across time to protect the Dragon Ball universe.

With epic battles, endless customization, and Conton City to explore, this is a must-play for any Dragon Ball fan.

Other Games Coming Soon

  • Dungeons of Hinterberg (May 7) – A magic-filled adventure set in the Austrian Alps.
  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (May 7) – Kill all gods in this action-RPG from the creators of Ashen.
  • Metal Slug Tactics (May 7) – A tactical RPG with roguelite mechanics based on the classic run-and-gun series.

  • Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo (May 16) – A papercraft adventure set in Limbo, where souls repeat the same day on a loop.

Microsoft is bringing the heat this month, with big-name titles, day-one releases, and plenty of variety. Whether you’re slaying demons, fighting time-traveling battles, or taking down corrupt corporations, there’s something for everyone.
