Phil Spencer has been very clear about his desire for Xbox gamers to be able to Play Anywhere since day one. The vision of Play Anywhere has always been to buy a title once and have it available to play across all of your Windows and Xbox-enabled platforms, be it consoles, PCs, tablets, or even Apple devices, as they are capable of running the Xbox app.
Digging into the latest Xbox platform updates released over the last month, seeing the details of the Play Anywhere plan come together is truly impressive for gamers. What’s interesting is Xbox is now embracing other cloud gaming services to enhance accessibility to titles or let gamers choose where they want to play. You now have an added option when using cloud gaming on your PC to use GeForce Now as your preferred gaming platform. If a game is available on GeForce Now, you’ll see it as an additional option when pressing play on the product page. Over 1,000 games now support Xbox Play Anywhere, with 70 being released so far in 2025. Click here to see the full list of available Play Anywhere titles

Xbox is continually adding titles to the Stream Your Game library. Although still in beta, this library will enable you to stream select titles purchased on your account in the cloud. These titles will be available to you based on your purchase and will not be included in the public Game Pass library.
