Sound is a major part of the gaming experience. As we approach the release of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 this week, Microsoft is looking to improve your sound experience with a new Xbox-branded wireless headset. Microsoft is calling this a refresh, not a new design from the ground up. In fact the design is similar to the version first released with the Xbox Series X/S.

Just because it looks the same doesn’t mean the features are the same; Microsoft has packed in some notable upgrades to this release. Wireless Dolby Atmos is now fully supported to give you that whole immersive experience, with full detail. The microphone has seen some tweaks with enhanced auto mute and voice isolation for crystal-clear strategy sessions with teammates. The all-black design features Bluetooth 5.3 and up to 20 hours of battery life. The headset will auto-pair with your Xbox, allowing your mobile device and Xbox to be paired together if you choose. Bluetooth connectivity also allows the headset to function as a PC headset. You don’t need to use dongles to switch between setups. The Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 chip powers the headset to ensure smooth connectivity and a lag-free experience.
The Headset is available today at Xbox.com and your favorite Xbox retailer for $109.99.
