Now that’s going a step further with real-time voting on Netflix. Starting today, you can interact with special live events as they unfold. This all starts tonight with Star Search at 6 pm PT/9 pm ET. Viewers can vote in real time and influence the show’s outcome. The new feature hopes to bring fans closer to the show by seeing the impact of their participation in real time.
Real-time voting is only available during select events, and how you use it depends on what device you are using. If you’re on your TV or streaming device, you can vote directly from your remote. If you’re on moble you can just tap your screen. Voting in your web browser isn’t supported at this time.
If you’re watching alone or with friends, each profile gets one vote to influence the show’s outcome. Star Search is the first show with live moments, allowing you to vote in real time.
