YouTube Playables launch on mobile and web platforms

Everybody wants a taste of gaming these days and YouTube doesn’t appear to be left out of the mix. YouTube has begun offering Playables and video games for everyone across web and mobile platforms. YouTube mentioned on their blog that the s devices would be expanding over the next few months, so if you’re not seeing the game you want on your device, it may take a little time.

For now the games are free to play with no download required, you tap on the game similarly as you would a video and start playing. Popular titles include Angry Birds Showdown, which captivated our time a few years ago.

YouTube Playables runs across all popular browsers, though if you are playing on mobile, you’ll need to make sure you’re running app version 18.33 or later with iOS 14 or later. For Android, Android 12 or later is required. In certain cases, they can run on older Android devices. Your games and progress are tied to your YouTube account, meaning your library and progress can be tracked across all devices.

You can access YouTube Playables here.
